Very cute!! Short & simple, the crayon aesthetic really added to the charm!

Goji responds:

thank you!!!

Hey my dudes,

While I understand a lot of effort went into the artwork & music (and it looks and sounds great!!). I am going to have to agree with Brandy on this one & say this is better as a simple .gif in the art portal rather than the same level as a full fledged animated short onto the movie portal.

This would be lovely as an exclusive viewing in your stream as a “be right back” with the music playing in the background.

KittyhawkMontrose responds:

Hey my Queen,

I'm glad you liked the visuals and sound! We did work very hard on this. And yes, this will be used for the stream! I hope you can come by and hang with the peoples sometime!

I wish I could've seen your vote so I could know if you really disapprove or don't, but alas, that's the joy of voting! It can be anonymous! And looks like a lot of anonymous people, the majority, thought this shouldn't have been just "a simple .gif in the Art Portal".

To all the people who propelled us to Daily Feature, THANK YOU! We love you, and that's why we're here!

Now this is cute!

This is the type of stuff I would imagine as a young kid come to life, having little helpers just helping out through your daily life.

While I know this is made during within a short period of time,
Several things I believe you can improve in future entires are mainly sound design & the believability of the renders.

There are several cases where I feel the robots are not grounded to their environment due to how silent they are (for example, when they run- there are no clanking sounds to support their little steps & no sounds when they move their arms).
When it comes to the renders, the "building the nuts" scene comes to mind, where for whatever reason the nuts they put into their bowl don't stack up. I'd love to see them stack up to sell that they are a part of this environment.

Nonetheless, I enjoyed this short! I hope you continue to keep up the good work!

Pitigamedev responds:

Thank you for the feedback! I really appreciate it!

clearly, this is absolutely positively not a parody of pokémon.

ittox responds:

Definitely not

Dude. This is honestly so good. This gave me an ultra nostalgic feeling I've gotten back during my Sonic Fandom days.

I didn't just love the protag, I absolutely admired the villains especially.

NK64 responds:

Thank you so much QueenBoo! I’m glad that you liked them! 😊

this tickled a particle in my brain; I love this kind of cringe frfr

Gray responds:

lmao

Octo responds:

lol

jc you know you’re not supposed to upload legit playthroughs on Newgrounds smfh 🙄

also who drew that toy chica in the back LMFAO

JCaluger responds:

Woops guess it slipped my mind lol. I drew the chica.

This was good, really good! This might be one of my favorite voice roles I’ve had a hand in. You got the goofy Zelda Faces of Evil & Hotel Mario CDI design and animation style down to a T. I’m excited to show people I helped voice Adeleine!

One thing I am wishing dearly is that this cartoon should’ve been a tad longer, I like my cartoons with a little bit more screentime.

DextaGethood responds:

Its valid that it should be a bit longer, I wish animation labour was more fun. however most side characters in zelda CDI usually have 1 or 2 scenes with straight-to-the-point lines (e.g. morshu has 2 whole lines but is iconic). I'm honoured that you enjoyed voicing your role and are excited to show your friends :)

I'm genuinely interested to see where this series goes. I was legitimately wondering if this was drawn & painted in traditional mediums, & upon reading the description- I was right!

One nitpick I have that is quite noticeable is the lip syncing animation, there could definitely be more variety in how the voice-lines are animated. Since it's animated digitally, it's could definitely be done.

Keep up the good work!

Dashiell responds:

Thanks! I was aiming for a very limited 80s TV anime level of animation here, so the mouths are perhaps a bit crude, but I’ll try experimenting with more expressive visemes in the next one.

Cute little short!

I just wish this little cartoon had better voice audio quality, maybe voicing these lines with a lack of echo would go a long way for this video.

EnzoComics responds:

Thank you so much! And thank you for the feedback, you are absolutely right, I completely agree. My audio setup at the moment is not ideal, but I’ve learned a lot since I started. Hopefully my future endeavours will be better quality!
